The big one in NSW. Fully selective schools (James Ruse, North Sydney Boys/Girls, Sydney Boys/Girls, etc.) are competitive with top private schools academically and free. Even if your kid attended OC, Selective is a separate test — prep matters. Don't skip writing prep — it's where many OC-strong kids fall short. Skip Selective entirely if you're committed to a private school path AND your kid doesn't enjoy academic pressure.
