International Competitions and Assessments for Schools
Multi-subject competition admin by UNSW Global. Each subject is a separate test. Most schools register students in batch; check with your child's school. Results show percentile + certificate levels (High Distinction, Distinction, Credit, Merit, Participation).

Good benchmarking, low-stakes, cheap entry point. Best used as a temperature check ("how is Dora's math relative to other Y4 kids nationally?"). Don't over-prep — the value is the data, not the certificate. Worth it for parents who want a second-opinion data point beyond school marks. Skip subjects your kid doesn't enjoy — ICAS is not selection-relevant; signal-to-noise is high only on subjects they care about.
