APSMO Maths Olympiad
Inter-school team-based maths Olympiad. Junior Division (Y5-6) + Senior Division (Y7-8). 4 contests, 5 questions each, 30 min, individually answered but team results aggregate. Only schools register (not individual families).

Strong follow-on for kids who do well on AMC. Different question style — fewer multiple-choice, more "show working" depth. Trains the brain to look for elegant solutions. Worth checking if your child's school participates. If not, can't do much (no individual registration). Lobby your school if your kid is strong in math; many schools will start a team if a few families ask.

AMC 表现不错的孩子可以顺势参加。题型不同——选择题少，更多是"写出解题过程"的深度题。能训练孩子主动寻找简洁解法的思维习惯。先确认孩子的学校是否参与，再决定是否跟进。
